Personality: Oakshade is, by all accounts, a good cat to have around. He's patient with kits, gentle with injured clanmates, and usually the first to offer help. He enjoys making others comfortable and genuinely cares about the well-being of those around him. Despite his imposing appearance, he's surprisingly approachable, often offering encouragement or practical advice when someone's struggling.
That kindness, however, comes paired with a very short fuse for nonsense and interruption. Oakshade gets irritated far more easily than he'd like to admit, especially when cats jump to conclusions, spread rumors, or argue without knowing what they're talking about. He values facts and evidence, preferring to know something is true before treating it as such (this makes him have very little faith in starclan's existence). Part of this comes from his need to be correct. Oakshade takes pride in being knowledgeable and dependable, and he spends a great deal of time making sure he understands something completely before speaking on it. Unfortunately, this can make him stubborn. Once he's confident he's right, convincing him otherwise can feel like trying to uproot a tree with your bare paws. He doesn't usually mean to sound condescending, but his habit of correcting others and insisting on accuracy can occasionally rub cats the wrong way.
